Another benefit to owning a hot tub is that it increases the value of your home. Most real estate agents acknowledge that homes that are advertised with a hot tub will generate more inquires, and in theory, sell quicker than a similar home without a hot tub. Some homeowners even opt to list portable hot tubs as options to their homes, and if potential buyers are not willing to pay the extra cost of the spa, the spa is then transported to their new home.

However, if you are contemplating moving out of your home and taking your spa with you, it is important to keep this in mind while shopping for a spa. You should inquire as to whether or not your dealer / manufacturer has delivery options available to you after you purchase the spa. Though many spas are portable, they can be cumbersome to move yourself. Some manufacturers make available moving the spa to another location for you, even years after the initial purchase.
